For an international chain of discount supermarkets, containers are received in the port of Hamburg, presented to customs and then transferred to a Karl Heinz Dietrich contract logistics warehouse in Germany. Checks for possible damage to the goods are carried out while the goods are being unloaded and again during storage and loading procedures.
